Deadline Approaches for Military Support Requests | June 19th, 2026 |
 Event organizers seeking support from the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds or U.S. Navy Blue Angels during the 2028 air show season, as well as those requesting U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy or U.S. Marine Corps single-ship demonstrations for 2027, must submit a completed DD Form 2535 no later than 5:00 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. That’s less than two weeks away.
DD Form 2535 is the Department of Defense's official request form for military aerial demonstrations, flyovers, static displays, and other military aviation support. The form (https://airshows.aero/GetDoc/5027) can be downloaded from the ICAS website.
While submitting a DD Form 2535 does not guarantee military support, failing to submit by the deadline may prevent your event from being considered.
ICAS expects the 2028 Thunderbirds and Blue Angels schedules and the 2027 U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps single-ship demo schedules to be released on the morning of Tuesday, December 8 during the 2026 ICAS Convention in Las Vegas.
