ICAS Negotiates Lower Hotel Sleeping Room Rate for 2025 Convention | October 22nd, 2025 |
ICAS has negotiated a new, lower sleeping room rate for delegates at the 2025 ICAS Convention.
Since early summer, hotel occupancy rates in Vegas have decreased by 16.8%. This downturn has been fueled principally by a 13.2% decrease in international visitors, according to travel industry experts.
Sensing an opportunity to cut costs for our members, ICAS approached management at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel and requested a sleeping room rate adjustment that reflects these new market conditions. As a result, the previous convention room rate of $199 has been decreased by $74 to $125. The rate decrease will be applied to those who have already made a sleeping room reservation for this year’s convention. The rate of $125 will also be available to anybody making a new reservation through the ICAS room block with the hotel from this point forward until the cutoff date of Friday, November 21, 2025, or whenever the block is filled, whichever comes first.
“We monitor sleeping room rates, occupancy figures, and other key analytics all year round,” says Karen Connors, ICAS Director of Membership Services. “When it’s appropriate, we use that information to advocate on behalf of our convention delegates. In this case, we were able to reduce the convention sleeping room rate by over 37%, which should make this year’s convention more affordable for our members.”
As has been true in the past, ICAS Convention delegates who book a room in the ICAS block will not be obligated to pay the hotel resort fee ($55/night). Those registrants who book a stay of three nights or more by November 1 in the ICAS hotel block will also receive a $100 rebate when they pick up their convention credentials.
