Public Health Policies and Protocols

2022 ICAS Convention

 

 

Safety is a core value of the International Council of Air Shows. To that end, ICAS and the management of Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel are taking pro-active steps to ensure your health and safety and minimize exposure to the COVID-19 virus during the 2022 ICAS Convention in Las Vegas for all ICAS Convention delegates, exhibitors, speakers, and staff. * 

 

*The ICAS Public Health Policies and Protocols have been developed in cooperation with Harrah's Las Vegas Hotel in response to the circumstances prevalent in early summer. They will be adjusted as the situation changes.

 

 


 

 

GENERAL

 

 

 

Counters, laptops, printers, tables, chairs, handrails, doorknobs, bathroom sinks, toilets and other furniture/equipment/areas with high traffic will be wiped down with antiviral and antibacterial agents frequently throughout the day by both hotel and ICAS representatives throughout the convention area.

 
 

 

   
 

In accordance with both Nevada regulations and the policy of Harrah's Hotel and Caesars Entertainment Corporation, all ICAS Convention delegates will be are not required to wear a mask at this time.

 
   

 

 
 

Please practice good hygiene by washing your hands frequently or using sanitizing stations which will be placed in all rooms where food is served.

 
       

 


 

 

PRIOR TO THE CONVENTION

 

   
Consider whether or not you may fall into one of the “higher risk” categories identified by public health officials before registering for the 2022 ICAS Convention.
Do not travel to the convention if you are ill or not feeling well.

 

 


 

 

EXHIBIT HALL

 

 

Wider aisles between booths to ensure each delegates ability to maintain proper physical distance.

 

 

 


 

 

MEETING ROOMS

 

 

 
Hotel staff will wipe down all high-touch/high-traffic areas frequently throughout the day.

 


 

 

FOOD/BEVERAGE

 

 

 

Additional bartenders may be added to minimize lines at bars.
Handwashing/sanitizing stations will be placed in all rooms where food is served.

 


 

 

HOTEL

 

The hotel has required all employees show proof of vaccination status.
The hotel has re-trained the entire hotel staff on proper cleaning/disinfecting procedures, personal behavior, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Hand sanitizer is provided at multiple locations in the hotel, including throughout the meeting area.

The hotel has implemented an aggressive cleaning/disinfecting schedule for all public and “high touch” areas
Hotel employees will not enter occupied rooms, including guest room attendants.
