| Rodeos have a lot of the same elements as air shows. Each event is independently owned and operated. There are announcers and comedy acts and different kinds of specialist competitors (roping, bull riding, barrel racing, etc.). PRCA has secured national sponsorship money for shows that meet certain PRCA-established standards, which has driven a lot of smaller rodeos to "up their game" to meet the PRCA standards and get some of the sponsorship money. This session will look at the opportunities and challenges that the rodeo industry has encountered and what it means to the air show community. Moderated by: Dennis Dunbar |
