| New this year, this four-hour, hands-on workshop will help air show professionals put artificial intelligence to practical use in their organizations. The workshop begins with three real-world case studies demonstrating how AI is already being used across the industry: rebuilding an operations manual, supporting event planning and coordination, and developing a full-show-cycle marketing campaign in a fraction of the usual time. Participants will then learn how to select the right AI tools and apply a repeatable prompting framework before moving into a 90-minute interactive lab. During the lab, attendees will work directly with air show materials—including an operations manual excerpt, performer packet, and FAA waiver checklist—as facilitators provide live guidance and help solve individual challenges. A tiered prompt menu will allow both first-time users and experienced practitioners to participate at their own level. The workshop concludes with a panel discussion examining where AI belongs in the decision-making process—and where it does not. Throughout the session, one principle will remain clear: AI can support the people who run the show, but it cannot replace their experience, accountability, or professional judgment. Designed for organizers, sponsors, performers, air bosses, and other air show professionals, this workshop requires no previous AI experience. Attendees should bring a laptop or tablet and have a free account with at least one AI platform, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or a similar service.
