| Developing an air show budget is a challenge for anybody, but it’s especially difficult for military event organizers who must understand and navigate the differences between appropriated and non-appropriated funding (NAF) as they develop and implement that budget. This session will provide insight and practical advice on military air show/open house budgeting. In particular, the session will explain what types of expenses can typically be paid with appropriated funds vs. NAF. The session will also include a discussion on how contracting rules and policies influence and direct the budgeting process. |
