| To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force, “O Canada” will be the theme of the 2024 ICAS Convention Welcome Reception. Each year, the welcome reception provides delegates with a unique opportunity to renew friendships, welcome convention newbies and get the ICAS Convention off to a great start. ICAS encourages delegates to attend the reception dressed in a way that supports the RCAF centennial observation and recognizes the “O Canada” theme of the reception. A few ideas to get your creative juices flowing… • Canadian sports teams (NHL, CFL, Raptors, Blue Jays, Canadian national teams, etc.) • Royal Canadian Mounted Police • RCAF • Hockey. Hockey. Hockey • Bob and/or Doug McKenzie • Canadian wildlife: moose, beaver, grey wolf, polar bear, etc. • Tim Horton-themed • Buffalo (red and black) plaid As always, convention delegates are encouraged, but not required, to attend in costume.
