Air shows throughout North America are experimenting with the concept of conducting other events in conjunction with their air show. From beer festivals and STEM fairs to car shows and concerts, the idea is to schedule and conduct complementary events that attract different kinds of people or get spectators to stay longer. But there is both science and art to finding the right kind of event to hold within your event. And there are challenges to promoting and executing that event within your event while either bringing in new revenue or minimizing your expense or both. In this session, we’ll talk with some air shows that will give us some insight on what they did and how they did it. |
