| In this session, representatives from both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps will discuss the process by which an air show requests aviation support from the Navy and Marines. They’ll also discuss support requirements for the various Navy/Marine Corps aircraft. Specific issues and concerns related to the Centennial of Naval Aviation and the U.S. Navy’s bicentennial commemoration of the War of 1812 will also be addressed. This session will also discuss the Blue Angels two-year scheduling process, F/A-18 Tactical Demonstration (TACDEMO) scheduling process, Leap Frogs scheduling process, Centennial of Naval Aviation (CoNA) events for 2011, and the U.S. Navy's Bicentennial of the War of 1812 Commemoration schedule for 2012 and its relationship to the air show industry. |
