Air Show Academy Registration Now Open

February 12th, 2024

The 2024 ICAS Air Show Academy will be held May 9 through 11 at the MCAS Cherry Point Air Show at MCAS Cherry Point, North Carolina.

This year’s Academy will offer unparalleled opportunities to gain in-depth insights into the inner workings of one of the top air shows in the country. From Thursday afternoon to Saturday evening, the event's management team will reveal the secrets behind their success to ICAS Academy attendees. Participants will get access to a wealth of information, including planning documents, budgets, marketing materials, sponsorship solicitation packages, performer, and concessions contracts, flying schedules, emergency response plans, security measures, timelines, checklists, and other essential documents and resources used to organize, promote, and execute the show. The ICAS Air Show Academy has been identified by many past participants as the single strongest introduction to air shows and air show management offered anywhere in the air show community.

Performers scheduled to appear at this year’s MCAS Cherry Point Air Show include the Blue Angels, F-22 Raptor Demo Team, Randy Ball, RJ Gritter, Tom Larkin, Stephen Covington, Hubie Tolson, and the Hot Streak II jet truck.

To ensure that this “living classroom experience” continues the reputation that the ICAS Academy has developed during the last 25 years, class size for the 2024 ICAS Air Show Academy at MCAS Cherry Point will be strictly limited to 30 individuals. Registrants will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis, and this program sells out nearly every time that it is offered.
