Submit Your DD Form 2535 By July 1

June 2nd, 2021

In yet another sign that air show planning for 2022 and beyond continues even as the pandemic begins to recede, the deadline for submitting requests for U.S. military support is approaching at the end of this month.

Air shows requesting the support of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds or U.S. Navy Blue Angels in 2023 and air shows requesting single-ship demo support from the U.S. Air Force or U.S. Marine Corps in 2022 must submit their DD Form 2535 not later than Thursday, July 1.

ICAS expects that the 2023 Thunderbirds and Blue Angels schedules and the 2021 U.S. Air Force single-ship demo, U.S. Marine Corps Harrier and Osprey, Canadian Forces Snowbirds and CF-18 Hornet demo schedules to be released during the ICAS Convention in Las Vegas.

So, air shows interested in inviting the Blue Angels or Thunderbirds to their shows in 2023 must submit their DD Form 2535 to the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force, respectively, before July 1. Air shows interested in hosting the A-10, F-16, F-35, F-22, Harrier or Osprey demos in 2022 must also submit their requests by July 1.
