| To more thoroughly address and discuss a wide range of issues and concerns related to Canadian air shows, the traditional Maple Leaf Forum has been expanded to two and one-half hours for the 2024 ICAS Convention. In addition to remarks from Brigadier General Paul Doyle on the status and near-term prospects of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds and the RCAF CF-18 demo team, the Maple Leaf Forum will include a discussion on RCAF support (MAAS/GSE/JOAP), a discussion on Canadian air show schedule deconfliction, and an update from Transport Canada. This year’s Maple Leaf Forum will also include break-out sessions in which event organizers and performers will move into separate rooms to discuss issues and concerns specific to their roles in the industry.
